Join photographer Larry Lindahl for a stunning slide show of landscapes, Native American culture, wildflowers, wildlife, and much more from around the Southwest. Larry will take you on a photographic tour of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. His passion and personal quest to capture the beauty of the Southwest has covered over 30 years.
The frequently published Arizona Highways photographer will discuss doing aerial photography, backpacking to remote ancient sites, night photography, light painting, creating effective panoramic images, and preserving realism in HDR processing.
He’ll also talk about the rewards of working with informative Native American guides, researching locations using Google Earth, the advantages of using apps like PhotoPills in making a comprehensive collection of landscape and thematic subjects.
Lindahl has photographed not only the well-known sites of the American Southwest, but he has traveled to many lesser-known places within national parks, national monuments, state parks and other cherished sites in the American Southwest. You will be inspired as you learn how he captures the essence of these locations in his award-winning photography.
