Nestled within the deep chasm of eroded sandstone chambers is a soft and surreal light. Its mystical presence quietly illuminates the curved and twisting hallways of Antelope Canyon. The hidden source above barely finds its way down into this dark, sculpted space.
Multiple waterfalls made of sand slide off stone shelves tucked within the canyon walls. Our Navajo guides made this magical, other-worldly scene by animating the falls with buckets of sand. A time-lapse exposure of 4 seconds created the unique visual sensation.
