When I least expect it, out of the blue, something good happens. Los Angeles Magazine contacted me few months ago about an ancient ruins photo. The magazine was doing a travel story on places to visit in the Southwest. And the magazine’s photo director, Amy Feitelberg, chose an image available from my web site. The image shows the main street of Keet Seel, a pristine ruin hidden deep in Tsegi Canyon in Navajo National Monument. As I explain in my earlier blog post, Photographing Keet Seel, the opportunity to visit this ancient site is, let’s just say, a bit of a hike. You can now see the story in Los Angeles Magazine, April 2016 issue, on pages 114-115.
